He brings many years of experience both within the walls of the church and outside in the public/private practice, schools, county mental health and college campuses. He has worked extensively with assessments and a wide range of other clinical issues.
Jason has been dedicated to developing pastors, church planters, and creating spaces serving people who serve people. Jason has served with Teen Mission’s International, Hume Lake Christian Camps, Grace Community Church of Visalia, Rock Church of San Diego, and North Coast Church, a multi-campus based in North County San Diego. Jason currently pastors with Limitless Outdoors, a non-profit ministry based in N. Idaho who’s mission is to reach those far from God and both care for and shepherd leaders through the great outdoors. Jason believes the Bible, the Great Outdoors, counseling and therapy are the keys to a healthy and happy life. Jason‘s favorite verses are “For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 . “Now then, take your weapons, your quiver and bow, and go out to the fields and hunt game for me.” Genesis 27:3
Jason is also an associate and a lead coach with Gateway Church Planting. Jason has helped develop a menu of proven and powerful tools to assess, develop, and support church planting.
Jason‘s story has taken many twists and turns. Jason and JJ Neese found each other following tragic circumstances in their lives. Jason‘s wife Britton bravely battled breast cancer for six years before meeting her Savior at age 42. Six months later, JJ’s husband, Tim Klein, also 42, died in a climbing accident in Yosemite, on a rock he’d summited over 100 times before. One passed away gradually and one very unexpectedly, but both left behind broken-hearted spouses and children who had to put their faith in God above their feelings and trials to keep from drowning. In His masterful style, Jesus brought their stories together in a way that can only bring Him glory. As newlyweds, they now share 6 kids between 8 & 17 and are navigating the path of the blended family.
